CAD (Deathwatch)
Note: This list doesn't benefit from the perks that a BSSF bring, so I rather have ObSec on my troops.

HQ
Chaplain: Warlord, The Beacon Angelis / 125 pts

Troup
Veterans (5) / 630 pts
1x Black Shield: Heavy Thunder Hammer
1x Watch Captain: Heavy Thunder Hammer
2x Veterans: Storm Shield, Power Maul
1x Veteran: Power Maul
Dedicated Transport: Drop Pod

Troup
Veterans (10) / 355 pts
4x Veterans: Deathwatch Frag Cannon
6x Veteran: default
Dedicated Transport: Drop Pod
Note: These are 2 combat squads with each 2 Frag Cannons and 3 default Veterans.

Troup
Veterans (10) / 355 pts
4x Veterans: Deathwatch Frag Cannon
6x Veteran: default
Dedicated Transport: Rhino
Note: These are 2 combat squads with each 2 Frag Cannons and 3 default Veterans.

Troup
Veterans (5) / 355 pts
5x Veterans: Stalker pattern boltguns
Dedicated Transport: Drop Pod

Fast Attack
Corvus Blackstar: Auspex array / 190 pts

Librarius Conclave (Space Marines)
Chief Librarian Tigurius / 165 pts
Librarian: Psyker Level 2, Force Axe / 90 pts
Librarian: Psyker Level 2, Force Axe / 90 pts

The total right now is at 1825 points, so there is a little wiggle room. The Veterans with Stalker pattern boltguns don't acctually go in the Drop Pod. It's just empty so I can Deep Strike two Pods in the first turn. It works like this: Turn one I drop the Drop Pod with the Chaplain + Librarian Conclave + Combat Squad Veterans in it because of the Beacon the second Drop Pod doesn't scatter and two combat squads come out (so i can shoot two times two Frag Cannons at the same or different units for a sort of splitfire), then I use the beacon to teleport the Rhino in (Beacon doesn't prevent vehicles from being moved). Then two identical Veteran combat squads disembark from the Rhino.

So, in turn one there should be two Drop Pods, the "deathstar", a Rhino and four Veteran Squads with each two Frag Cannons behind enemy lines. The downside? If I don't get first turn there is only a Rhino and a unit of 5 veterans with Stalker pattern boltguns deployed; I could be tabled.

Please leave comments and constructive feedback.

I like your list and I am having a similar problem when it comes to the first turn of my Deathwatch list- threat of being tabled if you do not have first turn. Also the opponent will really know the threat that your warlord with the beacon poses once he is on the board.

The hitch with deathwatch is that you can pour a lot of points into a very small elite force that just dies too easily with all the AP3 that is so easily accessible to armies and also Str8 weapons. So putting more of your models on the table should be a priority in lit building in my opinion.

You have a lot of pts in the squad with the heavy thunder hammer. It is a huge threat but it does not have redundancy you built in throughout the rest of the list. A good opponent with make sure they deal with that threat before anything else-and with only 5 models (even with the storm shields) They won't have too hard of a time neutralizing them with a tarpit or fire from afar.

My input is to spread the love out with the heavy thunder hammers, more units that have that threat is harder for your opponent to deal with and gives you more options while also building redundancy into your force. They don't just look at one 5 man squad and say "There is my target priority"

I like the redundancy in the rest of your troops (identical combat squads) also i like how you are making use of the Stalker pattern boltgun.

The command squad seems really points heavy, and honestly without some sort of dedicated assault vehicle you are just asking for them to get shot to pieces. Also, I feel 4 Frag Cannons per squad is a tad overkill. At the very least spread them into another squad, only two can fire from the back of a rhino at once.

There is a Librarian conclave that will roll for Invisibility / reroll invul saves.

The rhino is being teleported with the beacon and they are two combat squads with both 2 guns, they will disembark.

I meant more that a single frag cannon plus his rapid firing bros is enough to put the hurt on MEQ equivalent squads, so having 4 total seems a bit of overkill considering what your average target will be. You got barely 30 models in 1850 list all which will become fairly immobile once they land. I just see your Deathstar having trouble engaging more stuff once your initial alpha is complete. Ideal your Deathstar needs a certain amount of mobility or range, I haven't read the DW codex fully, can you put those dudes on bikes?
