Looking at putting together a space wolves army and am loving ulrik's stats and abilities. Especially his preferred enemy to everything bubble. Wondering if anyone had any advice for his load out? What squad should he be buried in to maximise his abilities? Is he even worth it?

Such a shame he can't prance around on a thunderwolf or join a squad of wulfen!

Thanks dakka wolf. Was planning to drop him in the front lines with a drop pod but wasn't sure what squad would benefit the most from his feel no pain, preferred enemy and subborn abilities.

Blood claws?
Wolf guard?
Termies?

Personally I find long fangs the way to go, but if you're set on running him for the front lines he definitely needs something that can throw a few good swings. I absolutely never run him with terminators as they then get focused fired upon and wiped. I'd rather stick him with a 9 man pack of GH with CCWs and a hidden PF

I stick him with whatever comes down in the pod. Joining a squad isn't so important as making sure he's close enough to the front lines that the 1st turn assaults benefit from preferred enemy. He can wade in with his unit on the next turn.
