- take Risk Starcraft or Starcraft Boargame minis
https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/22827/starcraft-board-game & https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/131261/risk-starcraft-collectors-edition
- use Memoir'44 rules & Card
https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/10630/memoir-44
- add few Star Trek (large) battleship as Artillery & Star Wars Armada (small fighters squadron), Starcraft Boargame (as Risk has no ship) or Silent Death ships as plane
https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/139771/star-trek-attack-wing & https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/163745/star-wars-armada or https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/3895/silent-death
you get a very fast boardgame looking like Blood Angels VS Ultramarine in a scale between W40k & Epic LOL

I gave the battleship 3 hits points and possibility to shot with a single dice at 1 hex range when moving, so that, when it was advancing, it was quite the same like a Norad class battlecruiser coming into the range of its Yamato Cannon.

I supposed Star Wars: Rebellions or Epic 40K minis could be used the same way when you are missing time for a full game.

That's pretty awesome! I'd suggest doing it with epic figs, but the days of cheap plastic epic figs are just about over.

Nice project.

That's exactly why I chose Starcraft ones since I had them already bought and painted since my last Risk game since Risk is boring in 2 players game.
Of course 4 bases of 5 infantry as unit would be a wonderful effect, just as this guy who replaced his Command and Color Ancient with DBA 15mm armies

Flames of War ones as IG could be great.

Sweet! 15mm is such a great scale for massed combat. If I wasn't already so set with 28mm I'd probably go with 15mm and try something like this.

Of course I do have alot of 28mm figs, movement trays and a couple of the giant hex maps from battlemasters. I wonder how such a game would look in 28mm...
