Hi there. I'm currently trying to paint up a Drycha Hamadreth model as close to the box art as possible but I have a section I am unsure of. On the back of the miniature there is a fungus-like section and I am not sure how to paint it. The section in question is down the back and near the backside. Unlike the red mushrooms the larger fungus details are a greyish brown. I am just wondering what colours people would use to replicate this section, since it doesn't mention it in the painting instructions and I didn't want to just wing it.

Here's the link in question: https://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/Sylvaneth-Drycha-Hamadreth

I would expect it is similar to Karak Stone or Rakarth Flesh. What do you guys think?

I would try with Rakarth flesh. Not only because I find it more simmilar than Karak stone but because it fits better with all the browns and general colors of the mini, specially if you look for that greyish effect!

Thanks. I also found the hive sections too orange tinted after following the guide on the box. I will try a diluted sepia wash to tone it down. Hopefully somebody else will find this useful too.

Good luck with the attempt then!
