Hi, so I am thinking of buying the Start Collecting! Skitarii box set to use as allies to my Blood Angels. I'm not sold on buying a whole army of Skitarii but I like the models included in this box and think they'd look nice next to my Blood Angels.
Ideally I'd use the formation included in the box. What would be the best loadout for these units in people's opionions to best support my Blood Angels. My Blood Angel lists normally struggle with long range shooting and anti-air, so I was thinking of running the Onegar Dunecrawler with the anti-air loadout, but for the Vanguard and the Priest I'm stumped as to the best loudout.
Looking for any advice people can offer, much appreciated

Frankly, without drop pods, I'm not sure of what the Skitarii are capable of.

Ive been messing around with Skitarii as allies to guard. At first to fill in Anti Air with the icarus array, it may have just been bad games but it kind of let me down, and it becomes pretty high on your opponents hit list. If youre looking for long range shooting one of the dune crawler guns has a 48" range small blast that is like strength 9 or 10 and ap 1, I cant remember the name off hand, and if you take the skitarii maniple you can also increase the BS of it once per turn using their doctrinas, however you cant take the dominus preist guy.

Recently Ive just been ignoring zooming/swooping flyers and trying to kill everything on the table so they have to glide/hover eventually, but if its flying mcs giving you trouble then vanguard squads with nothing but rad carbines (Assault 3) might help you out, the alpha can take one as well, so with ten vanguard carrying it you can put out 30 shots with rad poisoning which will do an extra wound on 6s. Out of 30 you might just hit a few times, plus if you give one guy the omnispex your target will get -1 to his cover saves which helps when they jink on you.
