I was thinking of this:

1: Undercoat Chaos Black
2: Base Vallejo Dark Green
3: First Zen layer Sick Green
4: Second Zen layer Escorpena Green

But will Escorpena Green be too bright, and should i use some other color, and safe Escorpena Green for realy bright areas on the model?

Do you plan on washing it down?

it should tone it down a bit if its too bright.

though im not sure of the specific colors.

pictures would be good. or better yet why not try a test piece to see if you like it or not.

Sometimes when I airbrush my highlights I intentionally overdo it and then come back with a very thin coat of the original colour to knock it back down.

It may sound a little bit of a roundabout way of doing things, but it gives me a lot of control over just how bright the highlights are and and also adds a depth that you don't get when you just use a simple highlight.

Same, I also tend to do some extra shading as well immediately after to add a little more depth.
