So we all know how Chaos warhounds make great Khorne Fleshhounds, but while surfing Google today, I found these:
http://bloodybeast.com/blog/2014/02/14/chaos-warhounds-of-tzeentch/

I'm pretty decent at green-stuff work, so I think making those beaks and filling in the horn-holes with feathers would be pretty simple. Maybe add some extra tentacles on their backs
Since Screamers are on small 30mm flight bases, I would put these on 32mm bases.

So you think these would make acceptable Screamers for a cheap Skyhost formation?

I would totally let you play them as screamers.

Also I think the horrors and burning chariot comes with a bunch of extra beaks you can use for them.

Those are pretty cool. I think they'd work as screamers.

Yeah I am definitely doing this. It would start kind of a theme I have going already.

These are my current Flesh Hounds (plus some other Khorne stuff):

And these are my Beasts of Nurgle

So by making Screamer "Griff-hounds" I continue the dog theme.
Now what could I use as Seeker hounds?

Snake-hounds? Give them a snake's face and a snake tail.

Conveniently the Warhound box comes with scorpion tails (like Fiends) and a pair of horns that have snake heads

But I think since I'm using Warhounds for FleshHounds and Screamers already, I need something else for the Seekers. I do have a few snake bits from the Lizardmen Cold One set, but those are too small, and should be used as swarms. It's too bad that Kroot Hounds aren't plastic.

Looks like a pretty solid conversion, I'd go for it!

Indeed they do look cool, but why pay $30 for only 3 models when I can pay $30 for 10? And have some cool conversions to go with a hound/beasts of Chaos theme

Anyone have any ideas on how to make the "Griff-hounds" look like they can float really fast like Screamers do?
Preferably without using flight stands since some of the Warhounds have 3 feet firmly planted on the ground.
The few models that are "leaping" would be the ones I want floating. Maybe put fire around their feet?
