I am wanting to make a casual list that includes all Hound conversions.
Flesh Hounds are obviously a big part, but I also what to use "Griff-Hounds" as Screamers (see referenced thread), and Plague Hound Beasts of Nurgle (VC DIre wolves)

Using a single CAD, I want to filed:

Khorne Herald on Jugger

18-20 Daemonettes
4x 3 Nurglings (for objectives, obviously)

4 Beasts of Nurgle (Plague hounds)
3 Beasts of Nurlge
3 Beasts of Nurgle

20 Flesh Hounds
6 Screamers (Griff-hounds)
6 Screamers

So that is roughly 1700pts. I need Grimoire in there for sure, so I think I need another Herald. I want to avoid using Psykers just because that snow-balls into me wanting more and more psykers and that will start to take away from the Hounds. What Seeker (hound) Herald would be good for the Deamonettes?

I also want this list to be something I can use to teach my sons (age 10 & 12) how to play, so no psychic is good to keep it simple. We also ignore the Warp Storm and treat Instability as Fearless.

I like the idea. Since you're already using that many Beasts of Nurgle you could go for a Rot Swarm formation and give the obligatory Herald the Grimoire. Would just take a little reformatting is all.

Whoops missed the single CAD part. If you want to stick to CAD just grab another Herald of either Nurgle or Khorne and slap on the Grimoire.

Herald of Slaanesh on an Exalted Seeker Chariot with the Grimoire.

It's fast to be where it needs. Has a few extra HP to live. And doesn't need to be a Psyker.

I didn't thing about the Rot swarm. I could totally do 1 unit of 4 and 6 units of 1 for some MSU goodness. I'm not tied to single CAD, I just don't wanna do the full Incursion or Double CAD

Oh my god... give the herald of nurgle a loci of fecundity and any beast within 12 of him has FnP, with 4 woulds that would be the worst to deal with!

Also despite you deciding against going a Daemonic incursion, I highly suggest scrap the screamers and maybe daemonettes/nurglings and split the points into 8 units of flesh hounds! Daemonic corruption on objectives will win you games like crazy due to the speed and survivability of your units. Also rerolls on instability and +1 -1 to warpstorm table can also win you game if your lucky. You can also keep your khorn herald on jugger and his loci will give all the hounds a big boost.

Don't get me wrong, Daemonic Incursion is pretty sweet, but I have a Tallyband + Tetrad for that. It would be cool to do Hound-Horde + Rot Swarm, but I just don't have enough hounds. I'd have to use all my hound models (Plague Hounds & Griff hounds included) and then I wouldn't have a Rot Swarm.

The Nurgle Herald is definitely getting the FNP loci for the Beasts though.
