What size is the list? What else is in it? Do they have a transport? Why are you limited to 105pts?

105 points of tacticals seems too low to be all that effective (as at least 35 points is tied up in a transport). If your getting free transports from a battle company then you could run a 5 man tactical squad with a melta gun and a combi melta on the sergeant in a free pod for under 105 points.

Umm.. If your running 5man tacs, why not razors.
You can get some extra firepower.
They could maybe being more firepower than extra sqaud. And room for a few upgrades on existing like extra armour or hunter killers?

For the Sternhammer you need to have 3 Tactical squads or else I'd do just that :/ the formation bonus of rerolling all misses with bolter weapons seems too good to pass up though.

You have what 15 bolter type weapons?
Re rolls... Is formation worth the bonus when a pair of razors and upgrades is the other option. ?
Just throwing out ideas.
May even get you a budget pread
Or missile land speeders etc?
Upgrade chaplain to say a more killy captain?
That spare 105 points.
