A long time ago, in a galaxy... well... this galaxy actually. I saw a little range of miniatures from Tengu Miniatures that really were very cool.

I bought some, converted them , added a few Eldar dreadnoughts and grav platforms and ended up with the start of a small army. Then... calamity... Tengu closed up shop. Fortunately, CP models bought the range so I can now link to the unconverted miniatures here:

http://www.cpmodelsminiatures.co.uk/28mm%20Grey%20Aliens.htm

Looking at them, I wasn't happy that they all had their toes out so I decided that I would give my little aliens a set of new clothes:

Of course, me being me, I couldn't stop there so I thought about adding a few bits and bobs and ended up with this:

Then... time like a river, flowed... and other projects got in the way and those little aliens got forgotten.

Until...

I read that Khurasan Miniatures had released a range of 15mm versions by the same sculptor! :

That was all it took to get things rolling again and I have now got reinforcements coming in from all angles... but in the meantime, I have a champion (or two) sitting on my work bench getting a bit of conversion work and here's the first one to show off:

For a bit of extra information, you could look at my blog here (army plans, organisation and ideas):

This has all of the hallmarks of being one of my larger projects

Watch the skies!

I have just received a parcel from Khurasan Miniatures so I can now show off a scale pic:

I am totally amazed at the quality of the tiny guys... they are brilliant

(The pic shows the Khurasan Greys, CP miniatures Greys (the larger ones) and a basic 28mm human from the Void range).

Cheers

I'm hoping that I can bring everything together in a relatively coherent way

The next update is the continuing progress on the two champions:

The pic also shows some of the MDS bases (the middle one finished).

As is usually the case, Inso's World has a bit more information .
