Hey dakka, after a prolonged break from the plastic addiction that is 40k, I decided to dive straight into my 'dream' space wolf army

After painting up some grey hunters and some thunder wolves, I was gonna purchase a few drop pods as they are quite good and lorehammer-ey however, from personal experience, those buggers are not very easy to put together or paint.

So I was wondering, just to make the painting easier on myself, is there an equivalent to Citadel's "The Fang" or "Russ Grey" sold in a spray paint can? I know GW made a Russ Grey spray can but I guess it got discontinued. An airbrush is out of the picture for the moment just because of the perceived difficulty of diving into that world of painting, another day I guess

Anyways, ideally I'm looking for something made my Army Painter, or a spray paint brand sold in the US that looks very similar.

Thank you so much for the help!

Army painter's version is Wolf Grey iirc.

I thought AP's Wolf Grey was more a match for GW's old "Shadow Grey".

Which is pretty similar to The Fang unless i'm getting really confused..
I wish GW had never messed with their colour names, I still think in 1st edition colours.

Not too dissimilar.
I'm reminded of the scutters painting Red Dwarf in Military Grey or Battleship Grey.
