Subject: 1,850pt Video Battle Report - Eldar Vs. Dark Angels
Monday already?! ::Smacks head on desk ... Which is at work ... Ugh ...:: Anyway, here's a brand-new Glacial Geek Battle Report! https://youtu.be/C3RThw4Q2s8 This week I take on the Eldar! A Vindicare assassin was sent to an Imperial planet to eliminate its Governor. The Inquisition believed him to have fallen to the Dark Powers and wanted him eliminated. When the assassin arrived on planet he realized the truth was different, but no less dire. The Governor had allied himself with the Eldar, welcoming them and their forces to his planet. Realizing the scope of the issue, the assassin sent out a call for assistance in Purging the Alien from this planet. The Dark Angels responded and sent in a force to help counter the amassing xenos threat. Will the Dark Angels be able to assist the assassin in cleaning this planet of the xenos filth, or will the Craftworlds hold off the assault and strengthen their stronghold here in Imperial space? Watch and find out!

I enjoyed the batrep, but I noticed a mistake. The Eldar Lynx IS in fact a superheavy vehicle. So it would be immune to weapon destroyed. Also, I think the Lynx has a super holofield thing that makes it harder to hit or something like that (I faced one in a tournament game a while back). I know I'm nitpicking, but I thought I'd mention it. Looks like it was a very close game in points, but, like all my experiences with Eldar, their firepower per point was definitely telling the tale. And that was just a friendly list; a super-optimized list is nigh unbeatable short of list-tailoring.
Looking forward to more batreps! Keep 'em coming!

The Grotsnik Corp Bump Feelerer 9,000. It only looks like several bricks crudely gaffer taped to a cricket bat.

The updated FW Doom of Mymeara changed the Lynx. It is no longer a super heavy vehicle.
Ah, that explains it. I don't keep up with FW stuff, or Eldar stuff for that matter.

Thanks guys! Really appreciate it! :-) ... Yeah he was pretty sure it wasn't a super heavy (I made sure to double check it since it was pretty heavy as a model being made of solid resin ;-) ) ... As for the holofield, I'm not sure if he has a special one ... He did have one, but was taking 5+ from it so pretty standard. I'll make sure to mention something so he can double check :-)
