Hey everybody, starting an Age of Sigmar army as an addittion to my Night Goblins Horde (3000points). This project could be somewhere at 5,500 points in total. So here's some of the points I've made:

Skaven
+ Cool models, challenging to paint, variety in units
- dull colours, lots of small infantry

Chaos
+ Lots of variety in units, variable colour schemes, powerful units, summon demons
- expensive, less shooting

Lizarmen
+ good variety in colour schemes, powerful units, summon units, unbreakable formation
- expensive, strick theme

Ogres
+ easy to paint, very own theme, cheap to collect
- few models, dull colours

High Elves
+ easy to paint, mediocre power, magic and shooting
- few models

Empire
+ good variety in colours, awesome shooting, lots of variety in models, mediocre power
- lots of small infantry, poor magic

Ogres would fit into the Destruction grouping, or Ironjaws to complete the horde.

You could do a Chaos force that has Skaven in it too, as they're both under the same Grand Alliance (same applies to Empire and Seraphon). Or Ogres, as they're the same Grand Alliance as your Goblins.

You should collect Stormcast Eternals.

I would say, get about 3-4 warscrolls worth of each, play them, then go from there.

Thanks for all replies, I might be going with Skaven as they can also summon demons being chaos wizards after all. I had one test painted and I finally got it working with it's tail (pics are coming for my gallery).

Yeah, id say Skaven as well. If you're worried about their dull color schemes say feth the fluff and paint them how you like.
