Hey Y'all I was just wondering how large a 150 foot by 100 ft ziggurat would be in warhammer 1/32 scale... and also any tips you'd have... I would like to make it necron themed...
Thanks in advance,
Xofox

now, I may be utterly wrong with this, but for 1/32 scale, wouldn't you divide by 32?...if so, you're looking at roughly 4.7'x3.1'...at that point, I'm not sure if it would be better to use thick slabs of blue/pink/XPS foam, or start building MDF boxes or something as a base structure...either way, that sounds like it would be massively impressive, and cool to play on, but oh man, a lot of work! - a bit too ambitious for my liking!

Nominally, Warhammer 40k figures are 28/32mm heroic scale which is around 1/56 scale.

1/32 scale is more like 54mm or 2 inches, which is akin to most commercially available toy soldiers. It is also a popular modelling scale for military subjects; partly due to the size compatibility with toy soldiers.

Warhammer sized figures also work fairly well with 1/46 scale vehicles and buildings.

So in the end you would want to scale in a flexible size between 1/46 to 1/54.

Pretty much you could equate 1-1/8" to 6' for a rough estimate if you average your height of a guardsman to be 6' tall or two yards.

Warhammer isn't 1/32 scale.

32mm isn't the same as 1/32 (or 1:32) to start with.

One is a measuring convention, the other is a scale where one is a proportion of the other.

A decent sized ziggurat would be THE TABLE (or at least a very large chunk of it.). Anything less would be an affront to the gods it was built to serve.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.
