Hi guys,

Super happy with how this came out overall. Probably would have liked to be cleaner with the edge hi-lighting on the cape and body, and I really wanted a pearlescent look on his shoulder-pads and crown, however I didn't mix in enough pearlescent medium so it just looked white and has not covered the grey base coat enough.

I am happy with the white/skeleton look on his body, I made a concerted effort on the blending of the greys, and on my blending overall. I have found up until this model that large areas like capes were easy to blend really well, just smaller areas were alot harder. But if you look closley at his body it does blend fairly well.

The base is still drying in the first photo and the glaze is still drying on the blade in the other two. Mah bad.

Only thing I'd suggest would be go over his shoulder plates again. Looks like a few more thin layers would make a nice solid color.

Yea I agree. I had a pigment in the paint with the hopes of getting it to sparkle, but it just made it really awkward to evenly layer the paint.

Nice. Besides going over the white again, my advice would be
1. Use thinner paints (everywhere and additional layers on white).
2. Go for moore depth/wash (gold on weapon and shoulders)
3. Have more shades in between base color and edge highlights and paint thinner edge highlights overall (robe).
