So my transfer sheet for my space wolves legion arrived today and I have to admit, these are probably some of the most beautiful transfers I have ever seen. The level of detail on them is something else, the largest transfers are incredibly detailed, just like the other transfer sheets fw produce however the smaller ones for unit markings and honours are the true gems of the sheet, they are also incredibly detailed and look absolutely great. Interestingly the gold coloured transfers are metallic gold which doesn't show on the pictures on the website at all. Needless to say, I am really looking forward to using these on my army and I absolutely recommend picking some up if you plan on painting the VIth legion, I argue that they actually look better than the sculpted shoulder pads.

Would love to see these transfers in action! Please post a pic example of the final product. I have always been a bit skiddish about transfers versus actually freehanding that detail, but for the sake of saving time, if they look good, I may just buy myself some sheets.

The transfers look really good in person, they are a little transparent so they are affected by the colour of the mini a little, but it is fairly negligible especially given how good they look. To apply them I simply coated the area with ardcoat and applied the transfer, once it had dried I coated it with lahmian medium to seal and matt it down. No other products needed, the final result is seemless, you wouldn't know it was a transfer. Overall I couldn't be happier with them, they're a good buy and well worth the money.

The beauty of most of the transfers on the sheet is that they could easily be passed off as freehand work, the more detailed ones also look very good but you may struggle to convince people that you actually painted them . I've been spraying some of my vehicles today as well so I should have some finished examples using the larger transfers later this week.

Keep those pics coming. Would love to see one of those larger/more colorful transfers applied.
