Kill team has been released today, and people are putting together forces.
With small forces, players can put more effort into each model, and busy people can actually finish a force. Every model can be a character. People who were thinking of dipping their toes into
40k or a new force have a format where they can play with just one box of models.
So I thought I'd start a painting and chat thread for people creating new Kill Teams to post their ideas, conversions and progress in, and to share tips and support each other in getting their stuff painted.
So start a log saying what you'll be doing and start posting progress. When people finish Kill Teams I'll list and link them from the
OP.
Lets see lots of pictures guys.
Completed Kill Team Links:
'Blank space for later'
What this thread is for:
Posting conversions.
Posting
WIPs and painted teams.
Posting Kill Team terrain.
Sharing painting tips and techniques.
Discussing different ways of playing Kill Team (with the different ways to play in the Kill Team book as a starting point).
Chatting about the above. Criticism should always be constructive, particularly for new painters.
What this thread isn't for:
Squabbling about capping Kill Team sizes.
Talking about
AoS.
Complaining about pricing.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Kill Team: Carcharodons
The Carcharodons fought in the Badab War, and are vicious by the standards of Space Marines.

List:
10 marines - Vet sergeant with lightning claw, missile launcher, melta gun, additional close combat weapon and Carcharodon chapter tactics. This makes it 200 points on the dot.
Models are a combination of the Mk IV and Tactical squad kits, with a couple of pieces from the Devastator kit.
As the Carcharodons were exiled from the Imperium during the Great Crusade, I've avoided Aquilas in the models, as unless they are wearing plate acquired since the Heresy then Aquilas were rarely seen on armour in any legion except the Emperors Children. I might use the lightning symbol of unity on a couple of models to represent the era they split off from the Imperium and became the Exiled.
Some models I've had a bit of fun with, and I've drilled all the barrels.
I used the Sector Imperialis bases, and was fairly impressed with them.
Now I'm just waiting for it to stop raining so I can undercoat them.
