1x Crisis Suit - 2 Fusion
1x Crisis Suit - 2 Fusion

Strategy
Basically the goal is to set up the Fire Warriors, Pathfinders, Broadsides, and Riptide in my deployment zone using the Fire Warriors as my front line and creating layers. 6 man units on the flanks with 9 man units holding the center. 12 man units will have 1 Ethereal on one side and the Cadre Fireblade on the other side with the other 12 man unit. Pathfinders mixed in as well as Broadsides. The Commander with Drones will be on the side opposite of the Fireblade.
Crisis Suits will be deep striking in to take out threats as needed. The Hunter Cadre will be using a LOT of the run and shoot special rule that the Fireblade and Commander allows nearby units to do. (drones won't be able to because they are out of the cadre but relentless and thrust moves will keep them mobile enough).
Ethereal will be the Warlord and rolling on the Command Trait unless there are a ton of ruins then rolling on strategic instead.
Ethereal having Storm of Fire active along with 12" overwatch, coordinated fire, and possibly the shooting command aura is going to make for some stupidly crazy firepower. I would spam more Fire Warriors but I need enough weapon variety to take down higher AV and higher toughness/armor save threats. Ethereal will be using LoS blocking terrain to the fullest to stay hidden and bounce between units as needed to hide from ranged shooting. If the threat to the Ethereal is too great based on the enemy roster then the Ethereal will start in reserves with a unit of Fire Warriors

Wow that's a lot of fire warriors! I approve! Although I don't think you want to take an Ethereal as your warlord because if you lose him you'd be coughing up 2 VP instead of 1 and that could be deadly in any game. Also I know opponents will do anything in their power to kill an ethereal! I like the idea of having lots of overwatch though. It's a solid idea to have a good amount of fire warriors to shield your more important units. Does your crisis commander have any weapons? You could give him TL Missile pods at the least. Having 6 non-TL Cyclic Ion Blasters seems expensive too. You might want to consider TL Fusion blasters instead. Otherwise a solid looking list.

FOR THE GREATER F-ING GOOD!

I'm still fiddling around with who will be the Warlord. Commander suit is the most durable but its basically forcing shooting towards one of my best markerlight units and his role is to tank and provide accurate and mobile markerlights (and get my nearby units running and shooting). Ive been very fortunate in the past few games in keeping my Ethereal alive by moving him between LoS blockers and shuffling him between units when his current unit is under threat or running low on bodies.

I have been absolutely in love with the Cyclic Ion Blasters as they pack some serious dakka. 3 Suits pumping out a total of 18 Str 7 AP4 shots is no joke and they have the mobility to get behind to shred rear armor or murder backfield targets. CIBs have quickly become one of my favorite crisis suit weapons.
I would of taken some TL weapons as i use to always take 1 TL and 1 normal fusion or plasma back in the 6th ed dex but with the ability to share markerlights and coordinated fire power's "+1 BS when 3 or more units combine fire" means that accurate is less of a concern and volume of fire is more impactful. Points being the limiting factor for not taking them (and considering my Crisis Suits often fight away from the bulk of my force it wouldn't be a waste).
Sadly CIBs can't be taken as twin linked as GW didn't include the option for that when they unlocked them from being unique.

The commander doesn't have any guns due to points constraints and honestly he tends to sit back at range directing the drones. If i trim something else ill look to include guns (missile pods due to being long range) on him but it was the last thing on the chopping block to fit everything in.

Two missile pods and target lock on the commander would go a long way for the points I think. Also, you didn't add a shield generator?

Why did you put a homing beacon on the ethereal? The range is only 6", and I suppose your DS will mostly be the fusion monats, so I don't really see the strategy here.

Things you could look into for that type of list: tidewall drone port or shield line (if you have the models). You already have a CAD, so it's easy to add. However, it doesn't really fit with the run + shoot style.

Aun'va: two powers + rerolling morale is pretty good in a FW list. You can't hide him in a squad, but if you put your iridium commander with him, it's insanely tanky, especially with a 4++ on the commander. The squad is immune to AP1, against AP2 you have your 4++ and then a 2+ save on top of that, and against AP3 you have your normal 2+, then a 3+. And you have two bodyguards to LOS the Str 10 stuff (most of Str 10 is AP1, but just in case). That's on top of an additional 6+ FNP if you take that power on top of the additional shot for pulse weapons. However, you loose some BS5 markerlights.

Yeah Aun'va helps this list big time. Also, if ever a list deserved a Tidewall; it's this one. But how do you get the points?

Drop the fire blade; he only helps 1 squad. Drop the FSE CAD; you don't need it. That's 214 points. A shieldline and upgrading to Aun'va over said fire blade is 160 and your list is way better. More resilient, and way better leadership. Lastly, as much as you love CIBs; your list needs that unit to be fusion more. #Knights. The spare 60 points is probably best spent in marker drones or pathfinders. You could just do that...or:

I hate to be #thatguy but this list could trim fat and add a Stormsurge with pulse driver cannon. Amazing for gun lines and you have the marker support for it. My version of your list:

[CAD]
Commander - 2 Marker Drones, Drone Controller, Iridium Armor.
Aun'va- XXX

1x Riptide - Ion Accelerator, SMS, EWO
2x Crisis Suits - 4 Fusion Blaster
1x Crisis Suits - 2 Fusion Blaster

4x Pathfinder
4x Pathfinder
6x Marker Drones

1x Broadside - EWO, SMS, HYMP
1x Broadside - EWO, SMS, HYMP

12x Fire Warriors - Pulse Rifle
12x Fire Warriors - Pulse Rifle
8x Fire Warriors - Pulse Rifle
8x Fire Warriors - Pulse Rifle
5x Fire Warriors - Pulse Rifle
5x Fire Warriors - Pulse Rifle

Stormsurge: Pulse Driver Cannon, Shield Generator, EWO, Airbursting Fragmentation Projector, Counterfire Defense System- 440

Tidewall Shieldline- XX

That's 1848. I think it maintains the spirit of your list but hits harder and is more physically and psychologically (morale) resilient. You do trade Coordinated Firepower for ObSec. The latter is very powerful, still the best special rule in 40k IMHO. However CF is awesome and you could still use it if you love the Hunter Continent but you can't have Aun'va (he's cost prohibitive outside of a CAD)
