Hi all, quick question I have regarding a thought I had,

I am currently building an Inquisition and MT army.. I have a taurox and it's cool but I don't think it's cool enough.. I really like the look of Bradley APCs used by the American military.. if I could get a kit in the scale of 40k, what would people think about me using them? I can't imagine people having an issue but thought I'd get a public opinion.. I think it would look cool

Rule of cool.

If it looks good, isn't built for gaming advantage, and it's clear what it's a substitute for ("This is a Taurox with options a, b, c...."), go for it.

That said, I'm a casual/fun gamer. Tournaments may have different views.

There is no hard rule about what you can and can't use model wise in 40k. The only people who can really answer that question for you are the people you play 40k with.

The Bradley looks a lot like a rhino, a bit like a chimera and nothing like a taurox.
I could see some confusion if your army contains all three of these, less so if your army is all Taurox..
A Humvee or Halftrack would be a better substitute for a Taurox imo.

Proxy/counts as models used to be fine with mono codex lists, with all of the allies these days you have to be pretty careful/clear.

But yeah, check with your group/store/TO first before you get too into the idea.

Puppetswar has some of the best looking models... I think. I often use them to convert my space marines and guard.

Take a look at these two models. I think you will like.

An alternative is to modify the Taurox. Gives a different vehicle, but still completely WYSIWYG. Zinge Industries has a kit for this specific purpose.

Personally, I just think the Taurox is a terrible model and a missed opportunity to make something really cool.

Thanks for all the feedback guys!

I know the Bradley doesn't look like for like with a Taurox but I think the theme for the army would be cool as right now its made up of a mismatch of stormtroopers, scions and Karskin and I may even add in some Krieg grenadiers to give more unique looking models.. I like the Bradley they give a modern feel and I would convert them so the weapon options matched up almost identically.
