Warhammer World re-opened after our major redevelopment in May 2014, and since then we’ve always been looking at and thinking about what will happen next.

September 22nd 2016 is the final day for you to see the Special Exhibition area of the Exhibition Centre – from Friday September 23rd it’ll be closed and changes to the retail stores will begin…

The Development Stages

September 23rd Special Exhibition Area Closes.
All other areas of the Exhibition Centre will remain open.
Golden Demon Special Exhibition available in the main Exhibition Centre, until October 11th.
Warhammer Age of Sigmar Collections Special Exhibition closes, with some of the collections becoming Guest Displays in Exhibition Area 2, until October 11th.
September 26th – Friday October 21st some background building noise and changes to the Warhammer World, Black Library and Forge World stores. All of our usual services such as Same Day Direct Orders will still be available, so if what you want isn’t on the shelves, just ask staff!
October 22nd – Our retail stores are revealed in their new format!

What does this closure of the Special Exhibition Area mean?

In the future we’ll have more smaller displays which change over more often in the main Exhibition Centre. Look out for upcoming announcements about Guest Displays from a Golden Demon winning painter, a Blanchitsu style gaming board and miniatures, and Armies on Parade displays!

retail stores feature imageWhat do these changes to the Retail Stores mean?

In the future we’ll display LOTS more miniatures for you to browse before you buy in store, and have more space to manage things when the stores get busy. Overall, your experience in the retail stalls will be even smoother and simpler than it is now.

We’ll no doubt see you as usual throughout the development, but get October 22nd in your diary to come and check out the changes for yourself!

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

Interesting. Their stores are indeed a bit on the small side and the stock levels were a bit problematic when I visited back in April.
