Slightly random, but I figured you guys might know since some of you must have visited WHW with kids.
I'm planning on visiting Nottingham next month (might get to do some gaming visits) with a baby, so looking for suggestions. We'll have a car so within about 30-60 minutes of Nottingham would do. I've had a look for static caravans parks but didn't find anything. All we really need in terms of facilities is self catering.

Its located near central Nottingham. Not too far out. There are plenty of hotels in the city or further out on the edges.
I live near it myself.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all. |

You could try the Peak District in Derbyshire. It's right on the edge of your travel time depending on which side of Nottingham you want to be (and if there any traffic issues you'll probably be busted), but it is a lovely area and there are plenty of places to stay and visit.
Alternatively there is a the vale of Belvoir (pronounced Beaver) in Leicestershire that has plenty of pleasant rolling countryside.

"Because while the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation, words will always retain their power. Words offer the means to meaning, and for those who will listen, the enunciation of truth. And the truth is, there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there? Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillance coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror. " - V
I've just supported the Permanent European Union Citizenship initiative. Please do the same and spread the word!

I stayed at the Premier Inn not far from GW (a short walk along the canal) and found it to be nice and clean with the usual facilities you would want as a parent (en-suite, kettle, etc.)
