I've seen her a lot in tournament armies.

Is this mostly for the dances?

How is she typically being deployed?

What all does she counter?

She's not in a lot of tourney lists. She's in a few and can present a hard counter to death stars. However she's not an independent character still and therefore can be picked out very easily, and I much prefer using the Culexus as a counter to death stars.

It's also worth mentioning that the assassin isn't available to all armies bc ITC banned CTA.

Which is basically all of them outside a very specific few.

Oh, so I assume the dance of caging makes it so they cant' cast psychic powers?

Seems like 12 inches would be difficult logistically with how far some deathstars can charge.

Cullexus creates a zone of denial and is problematic to place for non-imperial armies. Masque can deepstrike, use it's booty dance and than run d6+3 re-rollable to try to hide out of los. Can come with just a squad of nettes or anything cheap like that. It has it's goods and bads. But it's not gona be completely useless vs any army just because it's so fast and can not only oppose deathstars but also shut down a shooting squad. It's super fragile, though, and can only survive out of los.
