Just what could be a fairly easy additions to the codex to make it a bit more distinctive then just a mash-up of the other 2 Chaos books.

1) Drop Blood letters & Bloodthirsters from the Slaughtercult
2) Make Charnel Cohorts a Core choice
3) Make Auxiliaries 1-6 per core (Core + Aux + Command = 8)
4) replace cultists with BloodReavers (AOS) with the Manripper Axes giving them +1S

Ok, now something new.
Add a new core formation of Knorne Beastmen (Gors, Ungors, Bestigors, Centigors and Minotaur) and Gorgons & Slaughtbrutes as new Auxillaries.
Alongside this a 40K friendly version of the 30K Rampager Squads could be added to the SlaughterCult or as a replacement/upgrade for Khorne Marines.

I'm not sure on this next one but how about also including the Cygor. The boulder counts as a Demolisher Cannon and give it some similar rules to the Culexus Assassin for anti Psyker, maybe healing a wound(s) if it eats one (1 wound per level?)

At most this would need one new kit/upgrade pack and if balance right could give the codex a lot of depth without to much work. Would it need much more (other then adding Kharn) to be suitable enough that World Eaters won't need something in the Standard codex (when/if it ever gets some love - fingers crossed with Traitors Hate) ?
