Looks great, I hope mine turns out half as well. I really like the helmet too, I wasn't digging the old man head.

Absolutely love it, LDP!

Gotta admit though, I quite like the old geezer head but to each their own.

I need this model so badly!

Looks quite good, the lightning effect need some work, can't tell if the gun barrel is drilled or not. I'm not fond of the helm, its not elite enough for the top alpha dog, I'd prefer the old man head or perhaps the wing mustache head from the raven guard captain.

The blade on the Guardian Spear makes drilling the barrel a pita, you need quite a long drill bit to tackle that one.

I think it looks great, though I will agree that the head is a bit too simpleton. This is a miniature which actually shocked me, because it's actually not 150% overstyled like the vast majority of character models coming out of Games Workshop these days. It has a very nice stoic/elite look...and is detailed about as far as you really need to go with Space Marines.

The paint work is quite good.

I've been thinking about grabbing this mini, and yours looks pretty much exactly how I'd want mine to end up. Clean and detailed, really solid work. I think the helmet works alright. It's still framed by the winged details on the backpack, so that gives him some extra flair. I could see it having some winged motif added around the ][, but it's not bad as-is.

Wow! He looks fantastic! I really like the helmeted head. If I end up getting a Watch Master of my own, I will definitely be doing that. Can't wait to see more of your Deathwatch.

So nice and cleanly done.

Not much room for weathering on a guard at a watch fortress.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

Beautiful work on the mini itself, looks like it stepped right out of the codex. My only gripe is the base rim colour, neeed another colour to contrast the black armour.

Nice one, the head swap was a grand idea, the power weapon effect is good.

Nice to see GW can make cool models not in outrageous action poses all the time

I like the black rim.
It does not take anything from the model. Gives it all the attention.

Lovely stuff. Nice choice to give him the helmet too. I like the look of the old guy head. They were clearly going for a Jeor Mormont look. But this makes yours stand out.
