Im looking to put a Renegade Knight into rotation with my Orks army.
My reasoning should be obvious but our army lacks a lot of reliable and/or AP1/2 shooting aside from mek guns.

What im looking for is ideas on the best way to Kit one out to supplement an Ork army.

Im thinking twin thermal cannons and storm spear rocket pod. This would take care of a host of threats for sure.

But Im sure someone could run some mathhammer on what would be better for other threats, for example im not sure what people outside orks send to deal with a knight.

Lookin for some ideas.

I ran 2 double CC Knights at Wargames Con to compliment my Dread Mob. Lotta fun, provided a needed 12" move and threat.

My 1850 list I am play testing is going to be double gatling cannons though. Orks lack reliable AP 3 shooting and fills that gap nicely.

I ran into thermal cannons at wargames con for the first time and I wasn't that impressed, same with rapid fire battle cannons. I just think double gatling is far superior. Stormspear makes an already expensive knight more expensive, by the time you add that your at almost 470 points give or take.

I have a stompa and lots of deffkoptas/tankbustas for the ap3, and the thought of vaporizing a chunk of a terminator squad makes me laugh inside!
