Ok folks. I haven't really played 40k since 5th edition. Couple of games of 7th under my belt, but not enough yet to be building my own lists. I have thrown together 2 piles of miniatures and was hoping for some Eldar and Daemon competitive lists that can be made from these piles.

Eldar
Eldrad
Farseer on foot
20 Windriders
17 Warpspiders
2x Wraithknight
Titan
2 Falcons
2 Wave Serpents
3 Farseer on bike
10 Seer Council on Bike
5 Fire Dragons
5 Rangers
all of the Phoenix Lords
Vyper
Fire Prism
Crimson Hunter
Also more misc Windriders, Swooping Hawks etc.

Daemons

Fateweaver
GUO
6x Daemon Princes. I have 6 so I could run a Tetrad, or 3x Nurgle Princes
40 Horrors
3 Chariots with Flamers and Heralds all magnetized, so I can use them for whatever
20 Plaguebearers
30 Bloodletters
9 Screamers

That about sums it up. I can buy more stuff if need be, but I am looking for a fairly decent 1850 and 2000 point lists for both piles if possible. To be honest, the Eldar I have only played once, but they seemed a lot easier to grasp than the Daemons so far. Just a couple of powers were really needed and all the shooting did pretty well. The Daemons, lots more confusion with all the different psychic trees and powers to choose from.

Any help is much appreciated and any tips on running these things would be great as well. I am slowly working my way through the tactics threads on both armies as we speak.

Thanks in advance.

Hey, similar boat to you with not playing since 5th edition and trying to get back into it, but from what I've heard Eldar bike lists are really good

Ah, you've moved the thread here, if you don't mind I'll just copy my response...

Hmm, I mean we can give you some basic netlists that would certainly be competitive but wouldn't it be worth making your own lists first to see what sort of style you like playing? Plus making the lists and the list themes happen to be one of the more enjoyable aspects of the game (at least in my oh so very humble opinion)

That said, I'm an Eldar player sooo...

Eldrad 195
Wraithguard (5) D - scythes 210
Wraithguard (5) D - scythes 210
Wave Serpent (dedicated to wraithguard) Shuriken Cannon, Ghost Walk matrix 130
Wave Serpent (dedicated to wraithguard) Shuriken Cannon, Ghost Walk matrix 130
Windrider Jetbikes (3) Scatterlasers 81
Windrider Jetbikes (3) Scatterlasers 81
Windrider Jetbikes (3) Scatterlasers 81
Windrider Jetbikes (3) Scatterlasers 81
Wraithknight Heavy Wraithcannons - 2x Starcannons 335
Aspect Host Formation
Warp Spiders (5) Exarch 105
Warp Spiders (5) Exarch 105
Warp Spiders (5) Exarch 105

(Eldrad scouts up the Wave Serpents with the Wraith guard inside for t1/t2 flaming, Wraithknight's load out is completely changeable, Warp Spiders are universally good as are jetbikes...you have no dedicated anti air but so much S6 shooting that you'll be able to cope or just wipe out everything on the ground)

If you're looking for a fluffy way to represent an Eldar/Daemon army I had an idea the other day.

Pre-fall, the Eldar were created to fight the Necrontyr by using their psychic abilities, so it's only a small leap for that to mean daemon-summoning (in a much calmer, less hostile warp) alongside your usual mind-bullets.

Technically, the Eldar gods were created from the Eldar's manifested warp-constructs amalgamating within the warp which would support that idea.

Fluffy!

Oh, and I've come up with a semi-expanded Shadow War idea and need some feedback! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/726439.page
