I don't have an army list yet, just some ideas so I posted it here in general discussion. I want to create a Blood Raven themed Kill Team, but I'm unsure where to start. I haven't played 40k in a few years, but KT has gotten me interested.
I really like the DOW series and kind of wanted to create a small force that in some way looked like it came from the game, but is within the 200 point limit. I am not terribly fussed about being highly competitive, I'd rather it just be somewhat recognisable and game-legal.

I have several boxes of unopened marines from a few years ago to help in the modelling/conversion process, these being:

Vanguard Squad
Sternguard Squad
Devestator Squad
Rhino
and the KT box space marines

Any thoughts on this would come in handy

Depends on whether you wanna capture the feel of the DoW1 Blood Ravens or the DoW2 Blood Ravens.

DoW 1 is kinda harder because it was largely focused on the commanders, who obviously would shoot your points requirement through the roof. They also had more of an affinity for librarians at this time.

DoW 2 is easier; just look at the squads from the campaign and pick two and you should be good. For Fluff, each should be given a unique combi-weapon to represent the unique wargear they can some times get.

A stern guard squad in a rhino has always served me well in kill team.
