Changing Our Legion's Name

Just got back into 30/ 40k last week (already have a 2000 points game sorted fml...) and I was wondering how this model looks for my 30k Sons of Horus. Been playing around with a few different armour trim colours and working on tidying up my highlights a bit (been a while) ans I think this may be the one!
Tried the new(?) red gemstone on the eyes. GW has brought out so much in the last two years it's really confusing me hah.

I personally think it looks great! Once you get the gun on there and the base done it'll look sweeeet!
You planning on adding any shoulder emblems? Sorry, not into 30k so not sure on chapters etc!

My freehanding is terrible so I plan on adding some scribbles or battle damage randomly across some models in the army. They are the sons of horus so had random Cthonian (Homeworld) symbols here and there

It looks pretty neat! Putting a "but", if you want any extra advice, maybe you could increase the higlights in the chest belt (with runefang steel or a similar color) bit its mostly a personal preference.
Great job!

There's not really enough done for me to tell. It looks like the rims are quite neat, but I'm struggling to really see much else that's not just basecoating?

Make the helmet, it needs something like a metalic, or a contrast.
I've seen broze work well with sons of Horus.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

I have no clue how Dakka's moderation work. I expect it involves throwing a lot of d100 and looking at many random tables.
FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all. |
