So as a starting Bloodles Angels player I was really excited to see all these new bundles. After looking at all these bundles they all appear to be at pretty big discounts, except the golden host bundle. Why is that?

Is it a web bundle ("one-click collection")? Those are never discounted. Only actual boxed sets are.

It looks like a web bundle, so no discount unfortunately. The Chapter Ancients is an actual box (on its page look at the last image) so it gets a discount. Silly but that's how GW has been for the last few years, "one click bundles" don't save you any money, because you're actually buying 3 boxes of sanguinary guard and 1 sanguinor; you'll get those actual boxes separately. The Ancients box will just have three dreadnought sprues + extras (e.g. transfers, instructions etc.) in one box, not three dreadbought boxes.

That's odd because even the death company and other bundles all appear to come at a significant discount compared to buying the boxes individually. I guess this one's just weird

Those might be actual boxed sets (the DC one I think is)

The others are web bundles.

It's the same with the Traitor's Hate bundles too.

As a rule of thumb, if you don't see a box in the listing, it's not discounted. Even if it does have a box, don't count on a discount either (Grukk, I'm looking at you and your boyz).
