Just wondering how viable of a strategy this would be.
HQ: Prince with Reaper of the Outer Dark
Sky Burners Coterie:
X units of 10 Reavers, Baron for CC teeth/shimmershield protection, Jet Packs, Braces of Pistols and Fusion Guns.
Start with the Reavers in reserve. Use the Sky Burners Coterie perks (plus maybe an allied Autarch if it stacks) to manipulate reserve rolls, and the smaller scatter distance to make sure your opportunity arises.
Deep strike next to a transport/tank/nasty-ranged-threat of your choice and nuke it with the Fusion Guns. Then use your reckless abandon move to get within 8" of another enemy unit so you're forced to charge on the turn you Deep Strike, protecting them from incoming fire on your opponents turn.
It's a bit situational, but given the mobility afforded to Corsairs and the reserves manipulation from the formation you should be able to pick up an opportunity.
It's basically a similar idea to the Scourge haywire suicide-squad, but with a little less suicide...

I don't think Reaper of the Outer Dark is removing the restriction on charging the turn you arrive from reserve/Deep Strike.

Huh. I haven't read the exact wording, but from what I understood with Reaper of the Outer Dark you must charge any enemy unit within 8", and codex rules trump rulebook ones.
If the actual wording says something like 'if able to charge, you must charge any unit within 8"' that would be rule it out.

Reaver of the Outer Dark only removes the restriction on charging who you shot, it doesn't give you permission to charge the turn you arrive from Reserve.
Unfortunately. Otherwise it could have been SWEET!

Just for reference, from the draft FAQ:
Q: If a unit ‘must declare a charge against unit if <insert prerequisite>’, is the rule ignored if they are unable to declare the charge (entered from Reserves, Infiltrated, no line of sight to the target, etc.)?
A: Yes.

Quick FYI: Corsairs can't use their reckless abandon (the shoot / jump move part) if there is something in the unit that doesn't have that rules. So adding the craftworld or dark eldar characters to boost the deep striking would negate that.
