I would just rather have him flying and plastic rather than having to work with resin if I can help it. If there's really no other way, I'll go the resin route instead. But, has anyone converted a regular Dameon Prince into a Nurgle Daemon Prince and has some instructions on how you did it or maybe a link to a webpage with some detailed instructions?

Thanks!

Well this was for Fantasy but I think it could help you out

1. Chaos Troll body
2. Belakor's Wings
3. Head of the 40k Nurgle Demon Prince

Just hope it gives you some ideas.

Honestly, the plastic demon prince model, painted green, would be more than appropriate, and no one would ever complain. If you want to get a little more complex than that, get some plague drones as well and mix and match parts from them with the Demon Prince model. The Fly Wings would work really well and all.

have you used greenstuff before?...you could probably just build a normal plastic daemon prince with wings, and give him a greenstuff potbelly with some intestines hanging out or something...maybe add a few pustules around him, bit of a double-chin or something...nurgle stuff is generally fairly forgiving to sculpt

...you could even just paint it in a nurgly style...although, having tried that myself, with a cheap second-hand winged daemon prince I picked up, ehh...it doesn't really feel properly nurgle imo...

**edit to agree with whitedragon's post

Here is what I did this was my first demon prince model and i was still new to converting but the things i tried to focus on a few things to give it a nurgle-ly feel

The wings are full of holes and the skin is pale green dead looking, I would use a better head if possible, go to your local flea market or donation consignment store and look for an action figure with a grotesque zombie head as most 6"-10 figures' head will work and there are lots of zombie/horror figures on the market and many can be found cheep if you hunt them down

I recommend using some green stuff or other two part apox. to give a bloated belly or guts coming out of stomach, or boils and this will come in handy making the head fit on the body better

And the best nurgle weapons IMO are Synths or a big rusty Jason Machete both dripping with venom!

I did one for the 2016 Charity Daemon army we painted. Its a Daemon prince with green stuff industries tentacle maker, a hot glue gun, and an obliterator face mask.

I made it like this, you can probably spot the different parts;

The wings (a bit blurry on this pic) come from Plague Drones, the belly is a cut halfway Plague Drone body. The main body is a regular Daemon Prince. The arms come from spare Maggothlord parts. The eyes are Green Stuff blobs with spots in it made with a hobby knife. The snout and small pincers are from the Plague Drone kit.
