Hey gang,

Just felt like sharing my most recent completion, Skarn from Descent 2nd edition. I've been painting for just over a year now and can see a lot of improvement in my work, but know that I still have a LONG way to go in my skills. I started a massive undertaking by choosing to paint all the miniatures for the game Descent 2nd edition. My best friend own every miniature they have released thus far, so I have over 230 to choose from, and have just over 30 of them complete. As a companion hobby I started a YouTube channel to share my work also, Egghead Hobbies.

Anyhow, enough babbling, I welcome input and critique from everyone. I know there are amazing painters out there that I can learn from and see their work often, which has served as a major source of inspiration for me getting into this hobby.

So, here's the complete mini, painted & detailed, plus my first attempt with chipping medium as well as the first time I played with pigments. Nothing like diving into the deep end, huh?

So yeah, that picture doesn't do him justice. Is it better to scale the image myself in Photoshop than to allow the site to resample and reduce? Where can I find the specs for max img size for Dakka? Any help would be appreciated.

Thx all.
