I'd love to use a Xenos Inquisitor with Deathwatch. But what's the best way tactically to make use of them?

Maybe this load out:
2 Psychic Mastery levels
Power Armor
Power Sword
Rad and Psystroke Grenades

I thought maybe toss some DW into a LR with the Inquisitor. The -1 T is huge with the S10 heavy thunderhammers. Kill daemon princes and riptides with a single hit, and wound Wraith Knights on 2+! Combine with Enfeeble to fell Caestellans.

Inquisitor, Black Shield with HTH, 1 vet with HTH, 3 with Storm shields and shotguns. Not terribly expensive I don't think.

Another load out might be just keeping the Inquisitor back and give them the long range beamer thing with jokero. Idk. Does any one have ideas about this?

You can only buy 1 psychic mastery lvl. But consider purchasing the leiber heresius. a scouting landraider and then DW marines with one turn of hartred is going to ruin somebodies day.

And you already one-shot Daemon Princes-they're only T5.

Go long range with the beamer and have two Jokaero in the unit but no more or else you'll lose some bonuses that can be rolled. Toss in a psyker minion too since they are cheap. Rest up to you. Deploy in your center and the unit will threaten the whole table.

Xenos Inquisitor with PA, rads, lvl1 psyker with force sword, Line Heresius. And I agree, Biomancy could work out real good. I'd attach to an Aquila Kill Team in a LR.

Not game breaking but a good buff and a cool fluff unit.

I was hoping to find something that would be a nice addition to DW, but I think its a faction that can do pretty much everything by itself.

Best additions to the army would be cheap scoring units and maybe Culeuxus Assassin.

Inquisitors are great force multipliers and good enough to include in almost any IoM army with their super-flexible options. I usually have mine learn a random power from Telekinesis or Divination for that sweet Prescience. Have a higher-level psyker fish for Invis if that's what you really want. They won't do well in most challenges, though. So keep a chump sarg or tooled-out combat monster around to accept them instead.

I would take the Inquisitor and some acolytes as Objective campers, since DW is really more of a mobile, alpha strike army. Here's my preferred build:

Ordo Xenos Inquisitor
Warlord
Power Armor
Liber Heresius
Servo Skulls x3
Bolt Pistol
Conversion Beamer

and here's a squad to attach him to:

Acolyte x4
Carapace Armor x4
Bolter x4
Psyker
Jokaero

Small, cheap objective holders. And those skulls really help if you're deep striking your DW marines.

You can take a Black Shield with Power Axe to go berserk with AP2 attacks, since there's a reasonable chance you'll be outnumbered.

Also, Inquisition Henchman Warbands can take their own Land Raiders as dedicated transports.

Sucks about the blackshield :(

BUT! I still stand behind the "Grenade" Inquisitor could be a sweet addition to an assaulty deathwatch unit. Sucks they'd have to spend turn one outside of the raider...

probably not useful in the slightest but very cool would be an inquisitor with 2 daemonblades and a force sword.

If you are taking you xenos inquisitor you are really taki rad and psycotroke grenades for a CC unit or anti CC unit.

If you are taking a land raider I would take it from inquisition because they can still buy dozed blades and just have your guys pop in turn one

Yeah sounds about right. I doubt that's the best allied IC to enhance a DW CC unit. I would imagine the best way to use the xenos inquisitor would be with a conversion beamer, liber heresius, and have him with some jokero and plasma cannon servitors.
