Subject: Battle for Vedros Bulk? Help!

Hey guys, I recently noticed the Battle for Vedros supplier page. If I were to buy a Complete Stock of Battle for Vedros (4 Starter kits, 4 Paint sets, 3 of each expansion) for $350, would it be illegal to not sell them, and use them for personal use? What if I were to sell one of each, and retain the rest? The link is right here: https://www.games-workshop.com/resources/img/cmp/vedros/downloads/agent_order_form.pdf

Do you have a trade account with GW? Are you a business? If you don't and aren't, I'm not certain you're eligible to purchase that. I may be wrong, but I don't think I am

You can burn it if you want. As long as you fulfil the criteria to open the account in the first place, pay your invoices on time and don't violate any trade terms, what you do with stock you buy at wholesale is entirely up to you.

We find comfort among those who agree with us - growth among those who don't. - Frank Howard Clark
The wise man doubts often, and changes his mind; the fool is obstinate, and doubts not; he knows all things but his own ignorance.
The correct statement of individual rights is that everyone has the right to an opinion, but crucially, that opinion can be roundly ignored and even made fun of, particularly if it is demonstrably nonsense!” Professor Brian Cox

A Retailer's License (or whatever it's called) is all that's needed. There is nothing stopping you from just cracking the boxes for your own needs. In fact a lot of hobby shop owners start their shops explicitly because they like enjoying the discounts while also making a quick buck on the side. Note that the license itself I think requires you to pay a good sum on an annual basis, incentive for you to not just sit on it to get discounts and actually get off your ass to sell stuff.
MTG Players knows this very well, as less scrupulous shops would order crates (not boxes, crates) of MTG cards for the express purpose of cracking them to fill up their rare binders and then charge for obscene prices, which would obviously be against the intent of the company. And it isn't uncommon for people to buy boxes or the crates themselves for the cards, when the intended product is just a single booster.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.
When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do. |
