Do you mean the 'Relic of the Armoury' rule? I'm not 100% certain, but I don't believe this rule has ever applied to the Lucius Pattern Dreadnought Drop Pod. Certainly it doesn't have the rule now, so you could field as many as you have Dreadnoughts for which they're a Dedicated Transport.

Did Fulgrim Just Behead Ferrus?

Relic of the Armory is still very much a rule, just the drop pod in question doesn't have it.

What is Relic of the Forge? I can't find it in either the Space Wolves codex or the BRB. Automatically Appended Next Post: Relic of the Armoury rule, my bad, question still stands.

I don't break the rules but I'll bend them as far as they'll go. |

Thanks. I'll check that out - Lucius Drop Pods are the only FW models I use but it's still a rule to know in case something else becomes interesting.

Its against the forum rules to post copies of the rules
Also what are you even taking about? You are kind of rambling. What do you mean by dataset?

here is the page mentioning Relics:
and here is the dataset for the Lucius:
it says nothing of it being a Relic.
it says may be taken by dreadnought as a dedicated transport...
Automatically Appended Next Post:
the pdf which I took the picture of the Lucius Data sheet has this on it's front page:
"This document is an update to all the rules in our Imperial Armour volume 2 book to bring them in line with the current edition of Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer 40,000 apocalypse and is intended to provide official sets of rules for your Forge World models for use in your games.
Special note should be made of the Deathstorm Drop Pod, (formerly the Deathwind Drop Pod) and the inclusion of the Lucius Pattern Dreadnought Drop Pod as the rules for these have changed substantially from those previously published."
The Lucius Pod states it is a Dedicated Transport choice for any type of Dreadnought from said armies...
Automatically Appended Next Post:
now, the fire raptor DOES mention itself as a "Relic of the Armoury" tho it doesn't say it is within the ia2 itself. the NEWER release of the Fire Raptors rules -include- this when the original ones did not.
That PDF you're referring to was the update of Imperial Armour Volume 2 (first edition) to be in line with the 5th Edition rules, as I recall. It's.... very out of date.
The current rules we're all referring to are in Imperial Armour Volume 2 Second Edition.

oh I am sorry! I'm deleting the links now.
please forgive me, I don't mean to be rude - but you are being cold.
you do know what I am saying, but you say you do not.
however, we both should restate our words:
is it or is it not legal to use more than one Lucius Pod within an army, with the "Dataslate"/"Datasheet" provided within the updates of GW?
I'm doing this research for a tourney coming up - for which whatever ruling is chosen by them, will be for that tournament - hands down.
however, in actual normal 40k, is it legal to go multiple Lucius Pods?
I have found "You Make Da Call" to be a SOLID place to really get down to the truth of things.
I appreciate your reply, thank you so much Automatically Appended Next Post: .... man...
I had it wrong, if the revisions for 2nd ed are most current within the book.
OK
