I orignally started an AOS plog elsewhere and have the ambitious goal of having a small force built and painted for every faction out there. I had painted up a decent sized Dark Elf, Ogre, Empire and Chaos army during the endtimes as well as a couple of other models before Sigmar launched and was making pretty good progress by getting the following forces painted up by about March time:

Sylvaneth

HIghborn

Stormcasts

Bloodbound

Moonclan

Wanderers

Mixed Destruction


Unfortunately real life hit me with bowel cancer and my progress halted somewhat. In fact painting when I felt well enough post operation helped me big time but I couldnt get motivated to paint up Sigmar stuff ofr some reason and switched to Marines.

However, I love painting fantasy models the most and I went back down to my local GW recently and decided I needed to pick up one model and try and get it painted that day to get myself going. I chose the Lord of Plagues as I felt it was most fitting considering I now have a 12 inch scar across my stomach:


As I am going through chemotherapy at the moment, my sensitivity in my hands can be affected and it can be difficult to concentrate for long periodsb but I'm determined to get back to painitng and am really tempted to try and get an armies on parade board done. I probably wont be able to paint a new army in time but could maybe add a couple of models/units to any of the above. If anyone has got any ideas for a board based on the armies above then please let me know. I did get the scenery buzz and painted up these realmgates yesterday and am currently working on a numinous occulum which I could possibly integrate into a board:



Army wise it's going to be Pestilens, Fyreslayers and Daemons of Nurgle up next. I've got one unit of Fyreslayers done and hope to post the small army up soon.
