So I want to run a Dark Artisan as the Warlord of my list.
I'll have 2 Jetseers, 4 units of Scatterbikes, 2 Pulse-laser Hornets, 2 WKs and a VSG
That leaves me 360pts for the DA formation
WWP on Haemi
Spirit probe on Cronos
and Chain-flails on the Talos
That only leaves 5pts to add. Since I am well covered for anti-tank from the Hornets and WKs, I don't think a tail-weapon upgrade is needed for the Talos
So what can I add for 5pts to the Haemi? Is the stinger pistol a good choice?
I'd like to get Scissor hands on him, but that would mean dropping some points, Maybe swap a Farseer for and Autarch to help get them in?

You'd be better off upgrading the Chain-Flails to Ichor Injectors for those 5 points. Ws6, Flashbane with insta-death on 6's at I5 thanks to the formation makes the Talos a credible threat to a Wraithknight, who is really one of the few things you don't want charging you. 4 attacks hitting on 3's wounding on 2's might scare him off if you chip a few wounds off beforehand.

I'm not a huge fan of the chain flails. I like using the Ichor Injector/Heat Lance, so I can pop vehicles and charge the passengers.
I like WWP/Scissorhand on my haemy.

Yeah, those would be the ideal builds for both models. I don't have the points for it though and given that I have 8 pulse laser shots & 4 ranged D shots, the Heatlance is not as needed as more anti-infantry.
But which would you prefer? Ichor Injector only, or Chain-flails/Heat lance?

With the ichor I have killed things like: 2 carnifex from a 3 person squad, castellan robots, bloodthirster (the cheap one), chapter master....
