Hi there fellow gamer's and painters!
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce the Purgatory kickstarter that goes live on the 10th October 2016. You can preview the project here: https://goo.gl/g73jPi which will give you a flavour of what is to come.
In April we went to Salute and we took with us this artbook:
https://goo.gl/5lT8Lc
You can find pictures of at least 5 of the starting factions alongside information on the background and the history of some of the characters themselves.
If you like what you see you can follow us on twitter @purgatoryminis or you can follow our facebook page: www.facebook.com/purgatoryminiatures along with the other 1600+ followers we are lucky to have. We have a website: www.purgatory-miniatures.co. uk that gives you more information on the game and the world as well as having a shop where you can pick up models like Erishkigal below. (shop link: http://www.purgatory-miniatures.co.uk/shop.html )
You can see that we have some 'pedigree' in delivering highly detailed multi part resin models that are at 32mm scale. We have 7 models now released and the kickstarter bring the possibility of another 30 or more models that are all interchangeable to give you a dynamic and long lasting game.
The pledges feature a number of different levels, where the more you spend the greater the value. The £90 set for example, includes 15 models, all coming with a unique insert for their base. 15 stat cards, 15 San Ban cards, unique art, dice, hard copy rulebook and 60 Gift of the Gods cards. It really is packed with value.
So if you like the look of Purgatory, come on over and support the project as we ramp up for the War in Heaven!
Thanks
Team Purgatory

Wow... whoever did that last artwork, give that dude a bonus, for it's simply amazing!
Erishkigal looks mighty good too! Ok, best of luck with the KS.
P.S: Except for the shop link, the other seem to be broken :( the KS returns a 404 and the pdf link is returning an access denied XML response.

Thanks for the kind words! I've had trouble with that kickstarter link. It's a bit silly that they say "copy this link" and then it doesn't work. I've changed it to a short link which now works fine (or should). The same for the artbook. It should begin the download for you right away

Really cool designs and art work and that is a clever move putting out the art book for free.
Definitely interested.

@Purgatory -
That is great work, and I'd be interested in a couple of pieces as painting projects.
I would suggest that you put much larger, and 360 degree, photos on your site and especially in your shop, in order to better advertise what look like great models.
Good luck!

@Padre
Thanks for the comments. I will look into the 360 images. I've painted all of the models to date and Erishkigal in particular has a lot of scope for Osl and skin techniques.
P.s. like that you are from Ipswich in Australia as I'm Ipswich UK
@kid_kyoto thanks for the kind words

Couple of questions. How many factions are you aiming for as you will get more people interested if there is more then 2, I've talked with a few people and they seem to only like one facti9n over the other. Also is it to late to change Satan to Lucifer, Lucifer sounds better and more menacing, Satan I think of a Black Metal band!!

@overyrant
Thanks for the comments. Firstly Satan was used as it's commonly known, though I guess Lucifer is too, but we are not precious on the name as let's face it, the guy had many.
In regards to how many factions, you can actually unlock 5 during the kickstarter through stretch goals, and in honesty those who support us or look at the artbook should be able to work out who and when. We have 10 factions already lined up with hosts written down. Along with 7 that have histories and backgrounds so there is a lot more to come from Purgatory.
I should also point out that the unique part of our world is that you can intermix the characters to make your own faction to reduce the possibility of just having the same old battles.
