Ok, so I'm trying to work out a supplemental Inquisition force for my army (Red Hunters and Deathwatch) and I want to fill a Land Raider (Redeemer or Crusader?) with some cc Inquisition stuff.
I don't really care about it being the best thing in the world, but I want it to be optimized...so here goes
A couple questions I need clarity on though... it seems depending on where you look at the rules for DCAs, they have "power swords" (which suck), or "power weapons" (which COULD be power mauls... which leads me to the idea below)... which is it? I dont' want to "cheat" and equip them with mauls and build this whole combo around them, just for it to not be "legal". Some help clarifying this would be great! I'm curious how other people view it.
Secondly, if I take 2 Priests in the unit, can they both apply different Hymns? I don't see why not, but just curious in case I'm missing something...
Finally, what's the thought on the other types of henchmen in a warband? None looked too appealing to me, but perhaps I'm missing something?
Ok so here's what I'm thinking:
6x Death Cult Assassins - each with a power maul & power axe
1x Ordo Xenos Inquisitor - liber heresius (to scout the Land Raider, or other buffs after that), psychotroke and rad grenades, servo skulls (to help with getting scouted on I guess.. might as well?)
2x Priest - try to apply two different hymns?
2x Crusader - tanks wounds, hopefully with a re-rollable 3++
The hope is that with S6 power mauls, and the rad grenades, the DCAs would double out T4 mult-wound stuff.
Should I add Acolytes for ablative wounds?
Are the eviscerators worth it on the priests (maybe with smash hymn)?
Any help or advice on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

It is Power Swords, not Power Weapons.
But, I see no reason you can't have two hymns active so long as you have two Priests.

Ok. Yeah, the digital edition I have says "power weapons" but I've noticed that some list building tools show just swords, so I wondered where that came from. Also, I'm not sure if there was ever an FAQ that clarified... where did you see just power swords? Just curious so I can get the most up to date rules, as it seems the digital edition may not be?

DCA changed from power weapon to power swords sometime between 6th and 7th. (which was totally bad timing personnally since I had JUST finished making custom DCA with axes).
2 Crusaders may be a bit light. 3 Crusaders and 5 DCA may do better. It is possible to have too many DCA. Ideal sometimes is to just barely remain locked in combat so that you don't have to deal with incoming fire on their next turn.
2 priests for 2 hymns with an OXI for rad and psychotroke is perfect. One thing to consider with available points are eviserators for the priests.
Otherwise, this pretty much looks like how I fit them into an LRC.
Then if you're working towards the psychic phase, don't forget a cheap 10pt psyker

I agree with w0lfgang7, 3 crusaders and 5 DCA are good, plus 2 priests, OXI with psycho and rad, and a psyker (10 points for a psychic shriek that can target a different unit than the one you assault? Yes please... against most armies even one dead model repays its cost).
As said earlier, DCA only have power swords, but with S4, rad grenades, zealot and hopefully a reroll to wound from a priest, you should be able to kill most units except for TEQs. Just make sure that you use the reroll for saves hymn first, since if you fail it you can attempt it again, it generally is more useful than rerolling to wound. Eviscerators are really expensive, and imho they do not contribute a lot to the unit: they are great for vehicles, but you don't want to assault vehicles with that unit. They are good vs TEQs, but everything else is mediocre at best, so you should not assault TEQs. And anything else should already die with the big amount of power sword attacks you have (26 rerollable attacks on an assault).

Thanks for all the great feedback! It's a shame that I can't pull off the "power maul trick" though :( I thought I was really on to something there... Anyway, I may still build it because it sounds like a fun unit anyway.
You mentioned LRC over the LRR.. was that just for size? It seems that the flamers on the LRR would be really nasty with the psyflame ammo (S7 AP3 flamer would wipe bike units off the board on a 2+.. ouch!) but maybe that's not really practical.
Oh, also it looks like Inquisitorial land raiders can take dozer blades... that will be wonderful (unless this was FAQ'd away?)
Thoughts on that part?

Problem is, can't snap shot the template weapons and their arc can't hit targets directly in front so you'd need to turn one away. Plus you have to get within charge range to us them. It's a really expensive box to get that close without having a worthy payload like hammernaters inside. The crusader doesn't need to get as close, and with psybolt ammo, you can still hose infantry and snap shot everything. It'd be a cryin shame to lose a LR to a 9 point acolyte with a melta bomb.
