So I have 3 separate tanks that all cause pinning - all 3 shoot at the same target unit and each causes wounds. Does the target unit make a pinning check each time, or only once after all firing has ended?
If the 3 tanks are separate units (not part of a squadron), then he has to take multiple tests, one immediately after each tank's shooting is resolved. The rules for Pinning specifically say that.
It says right in the rules for pinning that a unit can take multiple pinning checks in a single turn (but only once for each unit that shot at them). All you had to do was read the rule in question.
