Subject: Mortarch choice for my Death Alliance

So in the face of an extended period of parental leave I've made the plunge and started a Death Army for AoS.
Bought the Skeletal Horde Get Started set and I am umming-and-ahhing over which Mortarch to build. Looking over the warscrolls it seems Mannfred is the strongest choice game-wise, but given the theme im running Arkhan seems a more narratively based choice.
Is there something I'm missing? Or is Mannfred just an absolute beast and clearly the best of the three?
Appreciate any input.

Didn't know they included the options for all three Mortarchs, so that's cool.
Personally, I'd go with Mannfred, because he's beast, and because he fits in thematically with the Black Knights better than Arkhan or Neferata, who both look more Tomb King than the rest of the Skeleton Horde.

Arkhan is more magicky, manfred is more fighty and neferata is a mix im pretty sure. just pick which one you like the look of the most.
