Sorry if this has already been covered or if this is a dumb question, I decided to start a new thread rather than threadcromance the big Death Masque thread back to life... I kind of dip in and out of 40k and Dakka, and have just discovered that I missed all the death watch excitement over the summer. I went back, read some of the big thread and got wrapped up in the hype enough to decide that my next plastic crack fix might well be the Death Masque box set, so I headed over to the user unfriendly GW website clutching my bank card in my sweaty paw, only to discover that most of this stuff is out of stock. Is this just a temporary thing due to it being an unexpectedly successful seller or have I missed the boat??

I was told by my local GW manager that the death masque Boxset was a limited time thing. He said it sold out pretty fast.

Nothing unexpected. Stormclaw and Deathstorm were similiar boxed sets and also had only a limited run.

My local still has a Death Masque box on the shelf. Overkill is gone though.

It's still available on the US site. You could also check third parties, eBay, or Amazon.

if you select delivery to germany, it shows both english and german version of deathwatch still available, same goes for german deathmasque. might be a good call indeed to grab your phone and call in on gw and ask if they can deliver you a german version of deathmasque if its only about the miniatures.

besides, the website isnt userunfriendly. took me longer to post this than to look up the facts.

Make use of the Email-option, Nuclear, there is stock and GW will pull overstock from shops to sell it via their webstore. I tried to order Death Masque yesterday, it was unavailable at the (german) GW webstore, and today it is available again. Will there be stock left in two months though? Most likely not.

In case of the english Deathstom box (Nids vs BA in 2014) it was available for at least 3 months and got more than one print run while the german boxed set was sold out after ~4 weeks. It seems not likely this will happen with Death Masque though.

The individual Killteam 5-men kit was selling very well and will get more production runs as it is a regular kit. It is likely the others will get at least a second run in a few weeks but will disappear over time. Space Wolves had similiar kits earlier this year. It is not limited as in 'Numbered Limited Collector's Edition' but if the profitibility will allow for further reprints.

The leaked order lists have shown what availability these Deathwatch have. They werent while stocks last.

They are both still available in the US store (with GSC releasing, it isn't a surprise that DWO is becoming hard to find), but what isn't available is the non-digital Deathwatch codex. It isn't temporarily unavailable or no longer available - it just ceased to exist in the online store. Does this mean a softback version is on the way?

That's not an unreasonable point of view...and good catch.

The DW card, codex, and dice bundle is "No Longer Available" as well.

Well good thing I just got me a copy of Deathwatch Overkill on the way before it's gone. I only want it for the Genestealers though.. gonna just sell the marines and stuff.

just checked the webstore with delivery to the Netherlands and there its back as a softcover

I'll pop into my local(ish) GW to see if they have one on the shelf, and if not I'll give mail order a call/email. Failing that it might be a case that I get one of my european friends to order one for me

I went in to my local GW yesterday, they didn't have one, but the store manager managed to find one in stock at another store and get it transferred, I pick it up next week So thanks for the suggestions guys!!

Oh, I checked amazon etc, it's still available there... for £125 Nice for the actual GW store to be the best value option for a change

My local GW has just posted on facebook that this is around again and it's back on the GW website

so if your local store couldn't get it get them to ask their reps again

(or buy direct from GW)
