I've played a few different war games before and I'm getting into infinity now. I've read the majority of the basic rulebook, and had a question if someone can answer it, I cannot find it maybe I'm overlooking it. Lets say I have a Seraph which is am un-manned TAG. Can I just field it? Or where its un-manned, do I have to have anything else out with it to be able to control it, or can it just function on its own. Thanks in advance for a dumb question

If it is "Unmanned"(G: Remote Presence), you can just field it with nothing more.

The only real time a requirement like what you are asking about comes into play is for Remotes, which require a Hacker(or in the case of Ariadna's Traktor Muls, a Dozer Engineer with Traktor Mul Control Device) or a TAG in order to be fielded.

For questions like this, I would recommend playing around with the Infinity Army Builder in the future. You can click the 'Check' or 'X' next to the ITS(Infinity Tournament System) bit and see what is or is not following the rules that way.

The Seraph (or any other PanO TAG) is only "unmanned" because there is no pilot inside it (so therefore no need for a physical pilot profile since it will never hit the table). If you look at many of the "manned" ones, they have an extra set of arms (small ones) - these are the pilot's arms, the big TAG arms follow what the little ones do (master/slave).
