I play Ravenguard and after reading the HH novel 'Deliverance Lost' I've been thinking about making some of the Chaos Mutated new recruits. does anyone have any recommendations on what bits to use for the mutations?

If you know anybody who played CSM about ten years ago there used to be mutation sprues in every box of CSM troops. Mostly plastic arms with a few heads IIRC. They're the sort of bits players will have in their bits boxes that they'll likely never use

Alternatively the current CSM possessed kit would work. It's not an expensive kit and if you only wanted a single arm or head for each model you could make 15+ mutated marines with one possessed kit and another 15 SM tactical marines
