Heya!

I've started building some models and was hoping for a little help in fluffing them out, maybe getting a few ideas for more

Im trying for a few key themes, and I know these might seem a little strange or missplaced to you guys but their important to me.

1) A rollback to some of the established themes of rogue trader (1st edition) that has have been dropped in recent years
2) pushing against the stale, ultra-masculinity of some of the newer, end times stuff. some hopefulness.
3) fun, some humor, perhaps a tiny tiny touch of sillyness.

Im considering maybe a 6 armed dreadnaught or centurion with 3 heads?

Powerful Phoenix Lord

They look like the ones from Statuesque Miniatures (the same ones people are using for Sisters of Battle conversions). Available in normal and heroic scale.

Question: what do you want to use them for?

Yes! They are the statuesque heads in heroic size

Uhhh.... dunno. Having perused the codexes they can pretty much only be chaos terminators at the moment (as I have perhaps foolishly) built them with stormbolters/combibolters and a mix of powerfists, powerswords, lightning claws and chainfists. I also have a librarian one so probably a squad of 4 chaos terminators with a sorcerer lord? If I ever play them. but I was actually thinking more prosaically, more in terms of background and fluff... maybe the wrong sub-forum. although that being said I would like them to be playable. my big quandary is I really want to make a librarian dreadnaught, with 6 arms and three heads but that means blood angels and that means using them as blood angel terminators which means I need at least 2 more with powerfists/chainfists for a min squad of 5. If I build up a bunch of power armoued guys I suppose I could use them as terminator armoured officers....

The other advantage of using them as chaos terminators is that I could get chaors marines in power armour and upgrade them to have boltgun, close combat weapon and bolt pistol and model all the weapons out at once...
