I... actually don't know. Help?

I created a thread like this waaaaaaaaay back and it was great.

So, do you have any fun custom scenarios?

One I came up with would be that the defenders start in the middle of the table in a column, as if the army is marching.
The attackers attack from all sides and must wipe out the defenders before they escape.

That sounds a lot like the Ambush battles from Total War, super fun. I like the idea of having units as objectives. For example, if the armies are Ad Mech vs Space Marines, I'll throw down a "Planetary Governor" that found an STC fragment.

I wrote up a custom scenario a long time ago with Old One Eye up against a squad of troops from any Imperial Army, representing them stumbling upon OOE resurrecting in the wild. Note that this was with OOE's original rules, where he cost 165 points, auto-regen wounds, stood back up on a 4+, had 2-7 attacks, and could fold a Land Raider faster than a Japanese origami master fold a paper crane.

The rule was that the squad started within 6" of Old One Eye and got the first turn. They could break from combat like they had Hit and Run. Old One Eye could run and charge. The Imperial player could run off the board without them being casualties. They all start on one side of the board and the Imperial player won if 50% of his units escaped off the board or killed OOE. OOE won if he killed more than that. Entire thing would be played on a 2x6 inch board, obviously with them starting on one end and going to the other.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.
