Looks like you guys had a blast! I've played using those multiplayer rules several times and I too can attest that they are loads of fun. Free-for-all games with the central artifact scenario (forgot the name) are awesome.

'Murica! (again)

We used to play 3-ways (giggity ) a lot before GHB where you go in order of rolling at top of game turn and rotate fighting combat activation every player turn. That created another level of enjoyable strategy in committing troops. This way where you don't know your order ever (unless you are last) took that to a new level and was quite challenging as there were so many things to think about. Another reason why we're having so much fun with AoS--you do the thinking yourself and not rely on books and rules aplenty.
