Hello, I'm brand new to AoS, haven't even played yet, but getting together my old Minotaurs, which are now apparently called Bullgors

I have 22 Bullgors, 1 Doombull, 1 Cygor, 1 big giant which I'm going to convert into a Ghorgon.

1) I purchased the Generals Handbook in-app on my iPhone but then I updated (foolishly) to the new iOS10, and I can only see the Profiles (points and things like Behemoth, Leader); but I cannot read the darn rules! So I'm wondering what limitations are there on how many Behemoths, Monsters, Leaders/Heros in my army? I'm trying to round out the army for the Pitched?/tournament style games.

2) Also, I got the Bullgor Stampede formation on there, and it says that if the army has a Warherd Allegiance then all the Bullgors have Battleline. What is Battleline, and how many Batteline units must one have in a proper AoS army? And do all my units have to be Warherd in the army to have that Allegiance? Or is it a percentage of the army? I want to get Galrauch in there if that's legit (otherwise I'll make some more Tzeentch stuff to go with that).

3) Lastly, if a Bullgor is made into a Drummer or a Banner carrier, can that guy still have any weapons load-out, or do those things replace weapon(s) options? And can a Bullgor unit have one guy with 2 axes, 1 with a great axe, 1 with an axe and shield, for example? Or must they all have the same weapon load out?

Thanks for any help!

1.

1000 points = min 2 battleline,1-4 leader, max 2 behemoths and max 2 artillery
2000 points = min 3battleline, 1-6 leaders max 4 behemoth and artillery (each)
2500 points = min 4battleline, 1-8 leaders max 5 of the rest.

2. Battleline is sort of the equivalent of old core units.
Bullgors are only battleline if you have the warherd allegiance (this is not due to the formation btw. You can only have warherd allegiance if ALL units have the warherd keyword. So IF you take Galrauch you will forfeit your warherd allegiance which means you will have to take the battleline units from other chaos factions.

3.
They have normal weapon options.
The warscrolls says "some units of bullgors have this.. others have that" so it means a unit needs to have the same weapons on each models (at least for gameplay purposes.. and for modelling only if you have wysiwyg players (I'd not play with people who don't allow you to play with the unit if it has different weapons.. I modelled my first 3 Kurnoth Hunter with a different weapon option so I could use them as whatever I like)

Thank you very much! I'll take a look to see what other Battleline units I might have if I want to mix it up a bit.

I forgot to ask, if a unit of 3 Bullgors is 180 points, I presume that means it's an extra 60 points per extra Bullgor if I want bigger units. Is that correct?

NO.

Age of sigmar doesn't have fancy things like: you pay for upgrades or you pay on a model per model basis. You pay for a set of units (3 in this case) and they you'd pay yet another 180 for having between 1 and 3 additional bullgors.

What he said.. basicly you can field 7 units of 3 (ps max size is 12) and you'll have 1 left over... using that last one will set you back the whole 180 points (so it seems you need to buy 2 more minotaurs on ebay )

Awesome! I have a very angry looking one with a two-handed chainsaw on a long pole. He can be a Doombull and have one of the artefacts....and some extra trophies to denote rank.

PS am I the only one who feels beastmen/mino's (brayherds and warherds) kinda fit better in destruction (since it's not that big anyway and chaos is?)

We don't want such a weak army within our ranks. But seriously, warherds are hilariously weak: their models are expensive and frail as hell. I remember that time where my 180pts of brutes killed the enemy doombull and wiped a 6 bullgors all by themselves. I wiped a 1000pts army while losing like 150 in return. In all seriousness, Ironjaws are the perfect counter for them.

THey should probably just play them as Ironjaws.. proxy minotaurs for brutes, regular beastmen for black orcs.

Day 555, they still think I'm one of theirs, no one has noticed the shody green paintjob.
