Hey guys,
I've recently picked up Lost Patrol, and since I already have painted Scouts and 'stealers, I'm getting them ready to try out the game (plus I have the original rules). It just hit me though - have GW changed the base sizes for either of these troop types recently from 25mm to 32mm? I know I can always use models with the bases that they came with, but I'm a little OCD with some things, so if I need to rebase, I'd rather just get on with it ASAP and get it done!

thanks!

Games Workshop's online store has both Genestealers and Space Marine Scouts being supplied with 25mm bases.

Standard Genestealers still have the tab which fits into a slot base, so the wouldn't stand on 32mms without work.

The Deathwatch: Overkill models are different though, and they're on 32mm.

Thanks guys. I've been cutting holes in 32mm bases for the metal slottas of my older Marines as I rebase them - Not chopping my old metals up when I can just chop the base!

I'll have to figure out what to do with the 'stealers. That's a lot of cutting and rebasing on plastic tabs. Maybe I should do the unpainted ones first...

If you don't mind the model stanging a little taller, you could glue the 28 mm base onto the top of a 32 mm base, then meke it look like they're standing on a small hill or something like that. It would save a lot of cutting, but then you get to spend time using green stuff.
