Subject: Genestealers pulled from ebay? No, just a glitch

I just went onto ebay to go looking at the current deals on genestealers and GSC and unless the models have been painted everything on the sprue has been pulled down. Anyone else seeing this? Anyone seen something like this happen before? I didn't think GW had the power to pull items off Ebay this way.... crazy.

Actually I am seeing painted and old rogue trader models pulled too. Bit lots. Everything. Looks like any listing with the word genestealer in it is being removed.

That is what I thought, but everything is being pulled.
If it was 1 or 2 sellers I wouldn't have bothered to make a thread. But it's all the lots.

The links above, and a bunch of other stuff, all seem to be fine to me. Guessing it's an eBay glitch rather than anything more sinister.

Someone on Reddit mentioned that a lot of bitz stuff have mysteriously vanished too. I really hope it's not GW trying to crack down on them again, I don't even get how they would have that sort of authority or power to do it. But then again eBay may be one of "those" companies that the minute someone complains, they kowtow and pull it just to appease them.

Glitch is my guess as well - seen a few of them recently (searches for Forgeworld showing 0 results, refresh the page and get over 4,000 results...)

eBay is a massive company...dwarfing GW. Anything GW attempts to do in order to limit eBay's profit will be met with complete failure.

I suspect this to be the case. Amazon is working similiar. Close/Delete first, ask questions later.

Nah, if GW is reporting these listings claiming copyright infrigments or accusing of knockoffs, you bet Ebay is pulling off these listings as fast as they can. They can validate these claims later. Better safe than sorry.
Edit: Okay, this is getting weird. My watch list still lists all stuff, but most of it is gone, when I click on it. Even second hand used models. Ebay Germany.

It's not only GSC stuff. My watch list included: Ogre Kingdoms book (4th E), metal Chaos Chosen Command, Stormcast, various metal SM blisters, ...
I have a softback 40k rulebook for sale myself, which is still live, though.

Looks like they're updating their categories. Just gone to relist something and the Faction-specific ones are gone - everything is now "40K Miniatures" (which also now don't qualify for GSP).

People seem to be thinking it's a glitch or ebay is like reorganizing things, it doesn't look to be a GW thing. Not that anyone seriously thought it would be, but with GW one can never tell based on their past behaviours.

On the UK site I can currently see 454 results for 'genestealer', and all the ones I've tried have worked.
